Group Session
Collaboration is the cornerstone for success. We are all in this together. Group work is a collaboration within a small group of children or teens. It can be focused on social skills, anxiety, feelings and managing big emotions. It is individually tailored to the needs of the group. Gender-specific groups can also be conducted i.e. a boys group focused on processing anger/ respect or a girls group focused on conflict resolution/ healthy communication. Group work is an affordable way to support children and teens to build strengths around their emotions, practice communication skills and make some new friends.
Parent Workshops
Deadly Descendants also offers Parent Workshops on How To Support Neurodivergent Children, Understanding Neurodivergent Kids and Teens, Promoting Lego-Based Therapy at Home and Connection over Correction. Contact Us directly to find out when our next Parent Workshop is happening.
Please note
an assessment is required before a child can begin group sessions with other children. The assessment determines whether Lego-based therapy would be suitable for a child/teen, where they are at developmentally and it allows the therapist to identify which Lego based group would be suitable based on their interests, temperament and likelihood of connecting with the peers of the program. Please book an initial consultation.
