When Kids Shine, Communities Thrive
At Deadly Descendants,
we believe every young person belongs—that their voice matters, and their story counts.
We’re not here to “fix” kids. We’re here to connect with them. Through play, movement, and meaningful conversations, we help children and teens feel safe, seen, and celebrated—just as they are.
Founded by Anastasia Elliott, a counsellor, children’s yoga teacher, and passionate parenting educator, Deadly Descendants is an Indigenous-led mental health and wellbeing service supporting children, young people, and their families across the Northern Rivers region.
Our work is grounded in culture, connection, and the belief that young people thrive when they feel valued—not just for their strengths, but for every part of who they are.
What We Offer:
• Individual Counselling (Ages 5–17)
• Brick Club Wellbeing Programs (LEGO®-based small group therapy)
• Parent Coaching & Support
• Outdoor Therapy & Nature-Based Sessions
• School Wellbeing Programs & Staff Training
At Deadly Descendants, we believe that wellbeing doesn’t always happen in an office. Whether we’re building LEGO® creations, walking on country, or having quiet conversations under the trees, our approach meets young people where they feel most comfortable.
We currently offer mobile and outreach services across the Northern Rivers, including Brunswick Heads and surrounding areas.
We work with schools, families, and community organisations to create spaces where children and teens feel connected—to themselves, to others, and to the world around them.
When young people feel safe to be themselves, real growth happens—and communities grow stronger too.
